  76.   Suggested age for game play is from 8 years all the way up to the 
  77.   adventuresome adult!  We wanted to provide a game that everyone would 
  78.   like to play.  LONE EAGLE doesn't have the bad connotations that 
  79.   other games carry.  Rather, it is a wonderfully relaxing way to enjoy 
  80.   yourself for an incredibly low price without having to worry about what 
  81.   the younger ones are getting into.

  84.   *** STORYLINE OF LONE EAGLE

  86.      LONE EAGLE - COLOMBIAN ENCOUNTER is a sophisticated, new generation,
  87. shareware adventure game different from anything else in the field.  The
  88. adventure starts when you learn your friend and partner has been
  89. killed by cutthroat South American pirates.  You sail to the same area to
  90. investigate and soon find yourself entangled with modern-day pirates.
  91. Combined with humor and adventure, a struggle for survival begins.  
  92.      The world you will explore comes to life due to the incredible
  93. graphics and the "VIRTUAL SCENERY" where there are constant real life 
  94. movements of backgrounds and sounds.  The scenes include sailing, 
  95. fishing, diving, and colorful characters.

  98.   *** REQUIREMENTS TO PLAY THIS GAME

  100.   - Minimum 386 16Mhz Computer < Recommended 25Mhz 486 > 
  101.   - Extended Memory Manager (ie. EMM386) required for sound effects
  102.   - 9 Megabytes of Hard Drive Space for shareware version
  103.   - 512K Free Conventional Memory

  107.   - LONE EAGLE will not run under windows or with QEMM.

  109.   *** PROBLEMS RUNNING LONE EAGLE
  110.        
  111.        If you experience mouse problems running LONE EAGLE it is 
  112.   probably because your mouse driver and mouse are not compatible 
  113.   with each other and are sending non-standard signals to your 
  114.   computer.  The easiest solution is to be sure to install compatible 
  115.   mouse driver and mouse equipment.
  116.  
  117.        If you are experiencing problems running Lone Eagle, the easiest
  118.   way to eliminate them is to make a "BOOT DISK" for your computer.  A
  119.   batch program has been created to help you create a bootable floppy.  
  120.   Just insert an empty floppy disk into your "A" drive and type 
  121.   "MAKEBOOT" from the directory where your game is installed.
  122.  
  123.   (NOTE: This batch program will attempt to format the floppy you 
  124.   inserted!  Make sure there is no data on the disk that you want to keep!  
  125.   After that it will put the appropriate files on the floppy so that you 
  126.   can play the game.  It will also help to free up memory needed to play 
  127.   LONE EAGLE.  Once the disk has been completed, instructions will tell you 
  128.   about adding a mouse driver to the disk.  Then you will be instructed to 
  129.   leave the disk in the "A" drive and reboot your machine.)
  130.  
  131.        If you still experience lockups or stalls while using the LONE EAGLE 
  132.   BOOT DISK, you simply do not have enough extended memory available 
  133.   for the special sound effects.  You can easily fix this by turning 
  134.   off the sound, but you will miss much of the special effects.  
  135.         
  136.         The sound is turned off from the button menu that appears at the top 
  137.   of the game while in play.  Once the sound is off you can use the auto-
  138.   restore button to recycle through the introduction scenes if you had 
  139.   difficulties viewing the introduction due to the sounds.
